The Full Story

Hi There! My name is Jane Swain. With intentions of being an educator I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in 2010 at the University of Winnipeg. Soon after, I switched gears and decided to dive into my dream job, to become a Registered Nurse. Since obtaining my Baccalaureate Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BN) from Red River College, I soon after obtained my license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in 2016. Working in a fast-paced acute care setting has enabled me to learn a vast amount in my time in a prestigious Neurosurgical setting. Pivoting to nurse writing, I marry my 7 years of post-secondary education with my experiences with past and current clients to shape and stylize my writing. It allows me to combine my passions: communications, educating and nursing.
